About Conchita

I know that life can feel messy, complicated, and relentless, and reaching out for support isn’t always easy. Sometimes it can feel like a big step just to start. My goal is to create a space where you can show up as you are, and to make room for whatever you’re thinking and feeling without judgment. I also understand that therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all—it’s personal, and it can shift from week to week depending on what you need.

My approach to therapy

Drawing from a background in community work and the experience of growing up biculturally, I understand the importance of finding a sense of belonging in a society that has not always been inclusive. Through a relational lens, I pay close attention to how connection unfolds in the therapeutic space itself— how trust, safety, and vulnerability are experienced in real time. Together, we explore how early life experiences shape current patterns, not to stay in the past, but to better understand what is happening in the present with greater clarity, choice, and freedom. I also attend closely to multicultural factors, including culture, family systems, and immigration history, and how these shape identity, relationships, and emotional life.

My hope is that therapy helps you make sense of where you’ve been, stay more grounded in where you are, and move toward where you want to go—with more ease, insight, and self-compassion.

Who I work with (Individuals)

I work with:

  • Adults who are navigating life transitions, relationship and identity questions.

  • First- and second-generation Asian Americans as they explore culture, belonging, and identity.

  • Artists who are trying to hold onto their creative identity while also making space for shifting roles, responsibilities, and life priorities.

Couples work

I also work with couples and families who are moving through cultural differences, infertility, and the early stages of parenthood.
